The British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis is a national organisation of health care practitioners and academics. We are dedicated to advancing the science of hypnosis and promoting the evidence-base for clinical hypnosis as a therapeutic tool, by using research to guide interventions and clinical practice to guide research. Consequently, we believe that the safe use of clinical hypnosis as a therapeutic tool is best used by practitioners who are qualified to treat patients without hypnosis.
