Samantha Crone
Dr Samantha Crone BDS MFDS RCS(Eng)Samantha graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1997, gaining a Batchelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS) and subsequently gaining Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS RCS(Eng)) in 2002, following further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is also qualified to provide non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers. Samantha trained in clinical hypnosis in her final year of dental school in 1996 and has successfully used hypnosis techniques throughout her career in dentistry. She has found hypnosis particularly useful in the treatment of anxious patients, those struggling with pronounced gag reflexes, needle phobias and dental phobias, all of which can prevent or limit the provision of dental treatment. Samantha continues to maintain and update her skills in clinical hypnosis by attending courses and through peer review. She initially trained with The British Society of Medical and Dental Hypnosis London branch and is now an active member of BSCAH.

Zoita Mandila
Zoita Mandila is an experienced dentist with a special interest in dental anxiety. She was awarded in 2010 a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis & Related Techniques by the British Society of Academic and Clinical Hypnosis which enabled her to use clinical hypnosis in her work. In 2019, Zoita was awarded a full scholarship for the Exeter MBA from which she graduated in September 2020 with Distinction. As part of her MBA, Zoita researched the effects of Virtual Reality technology on dental anxiety. Her research led her to an enrolment to an Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program with the aim of bringing the VR technology into the dental sector to support dental anxious patients. Until recently, Zoita acted as the Honorary Secretary for the Western Branch of the British Society of Academic and Clinical Hypnosis. She is based in Devon and enjoys exploring the beauty of the South West of the UK.
