Medical Hypnosis for Healthcare Professionals - Module 1 Weekend

Self directed study plus face to zoom sessions: Sat 8th & Sun 9th May 2021

Timetable:

Morning session: 10.00am - 12.30pm

Afternoon session: 2pm - 4.30pm

What is covered in the course?

Module 1 will provide a solid, practical foundation in clinical hypnosis.
You will learn the basics, the theories and common applications of hypnosis.
You will also learn how to induce a hypnotic trance in your patients and how to utilise the trance for therapeutic goals.
This two day training gives you the basic skills you need to integrate hypnotic techniques into your clinical work to help both you and your patients with anxiety and stress. Learn about the neuroscience behind the hypnotic response and how words can influence the outcome of any interaction you have with your patients.
 

How will the course be delivered?

You will be given guided access to curated online resources (available for three months) which cover all aspects of the Core Curriculum for Module 1.
There will be experiential learning and practice in breakout rooms supervised by an experienced hypnosis practitioner.
This course is made up of self directed study and organised face to zoom sessions and breakout rooms.
All tutors are Healthcare professionals with experience of integrating clincial hypnosis within their area of specialism.

Module 2
Once you have completed Module 1 you may decide to undertake further training in your speciality. Details to follow.
